The Trump Card...

OOPS!

"A navy-colored bus emblazoned with the phrases “I’m not with her” and “Black voters for Trump” received a cheer from the crowd of fewer than a dozen Black Republicans, many of them members of the local Republican Central Committee."

Just as the assassination attempt has faded from the public mind, so will the debate. Different than Hillary or Trump, Harris raised $47 million in the 24 hours following the debate. The debate may be forgotten, but Harris gained cash in hand.
The Democrats keep emphasizing the Harris advantage in fundraising; even if these numbers are accurate or legitimate, history tells us it doesn't matter. Hillary doubled Trump's fundraising in 2016, but lost anyway in spite of her attempted coronation by Democrats and the mainstream media. Now these two allies are trying to put the crown on a more liberal and dislikeable candidate.

Also, Trump's utter collapse in the debate was one for the ages. It will be remembered for a long time as one of the most significant episodes ever in the history of US presidential debates. It will make the highlight reels for years and years. The story won't be about Harris's debate victory. It will be about Trump's meltdown.
Pure Democrat party propaganda. We're seeing a lot of that on here lately. In spite of this hyperbole, the aftermath of the debate is seeing independents realizing that they still don't know what Harris stands for or what her true positions are on the issues. What people will remember about this debate is Harris's preening, smarmy facial expressions in split screen, the highly biased and antagonistic moderators who didn't fact-check her lies even once, and that Trump lost his temper but still stated his points explained his positions on issues. He did not "collapse" or "melt down" - he's gone off on moderators before (Megyn Kelly) and people don't care.

Regarding the "cats and dogs" comment, that was probably planned to be inserted at some point. People will remember that, and it put Springfield, OH on everyone's map. Now they ask how a town of 60K people got 20K illegal Haitians dumped into their back yard without their consent, courtesy of Kamala Harris, Border Czar.

There are several good reasons to have another debate.
  • It gives Harris the opportunity to mop the floor with Trump a second time.
  • It gives Harris the opportunity to raise tens of millions of dollars a second time.
  • It gives Harris the opportunity to increase her name recognition among voters who have yet to learn more about her.
  • It will further energize her already energized base as the Election Day clock ticks down.
Why didn’t she show up for the Fox News debate? Trump showed up. #theshiphasailed

They are not illegal, they are here legally, they have temporary protective status, they are allowed to work.

Harris was not put in charge of the border security, she was asked to find out why so many people from Central America were trying to immigrate here.

How’d that work out?

Crazy. Especially, after so many crazy stories came out after it happened, trying to make it look like it wasn't even about Trump
I just got done telling my sister about it, who said it was fake news, and that he would do anything for votes. When I told her that her own CNN was reporting it and gave the details they reported. She shut up and just said "Wow".

Same here. Sister texted me about what happened because she didn’t have access to news. I told not sure because of conflicting reports. As usual, early on reports can be sketchy.

I agree. History tells us the candidate with the most campaign funds does not always win. Other factors can outweigh fundraising as an indicator, especially when fundraising is considered in isolation.

One factor is how the money is spent. Was it wisely spent or poorly spent? In Hillary's case, poor campaign tactics, an unwelcome October surprise, and her own overconfidence (arrogance?) were factors that overrode the fundraising indicator.

Fundraising, especially funds raised from small donors is an indicator of popular support, and having money to spend on a campaign is probably better than not having it. But fundraising it is not THE indicator that determines the outcome.

Brilliant Strategy ... Not

In the last couple days, Trump has posted, "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT," and "All rich, job creating people, that support Comrade Kamala Harris, you are STUPID."

Not exactly a how to win friends and influence people strategy. This strategy would make sense if you believed Trump is actually trying to drive prospective voters away instead of drawing them in. Otherwise, it seems counterproductive.
