Well it is a wash now.
I lost the other two gardens I had planted, one was wiped out by a nice old pine tree that toppled over right on the garden (it was on TV with my little plant signs sticking out of the branches) and the other was washed out thanks to the people pumping out their basement next door with the high volume trash pump, I don't care at this point because it was raw sewage.
So far I was told that I would lose my deck if I get FEMA to do the repairs to the foundation and the basement walls which means all the lettuce will be ripped up. What I have left is my plants in those little plastic containers that need homes and a bunch in pots.
My leeks look good but are bunched up, I have strawberries turning red and my horseradish and what garlic survived the rain and are now flourishing. I planted my Mexican peppers yesterday in one of those topsy turvy things and they took off within an hour of putting them in there.
