He's just testing the chassis integrity for us. LOL. We'll know in a few months how it handles the heavy loads and the long miles. I'm just glad someone on here is running one and keeping us informed. I'm sure there's plenty of people watching how the Transit actually performs in expediting service.

No issues. 17.5 mpg under load on that delivery.

Somewhere between $350-40,000. I would suggest that you stay away from the very low end and the high end! LOL! Don't forget the range time. One cannot expect to take pheasant if one has no idea how to shoot!

We have no shooting ranges out here! not official ones anyhow..heck the kids out here a crack shots...watched them skeet shoot one day....sweet lord almost never missed for teens...LOL guess my brother in laws ranch and get some pointers and practice out there

Shooting a shotgun, well, takes a LOT of time and effort to learn. I would suggest staying home and putting the hours in that it takes! Start slow, maybe even get a lesson or two. Work your way up to a couple of hundred rounds per week by mid-June. Do that until hunting season starts. You should be fine. Practice ALL kinds of shots, not just going away(trap). Skeet would be better more angles than trap. Sporting clays near the end of your "training period". Vary the speed on the targets as well.

Tip; if you're going to get into knocking down birds, especially pheasant start preparing now. It can be a lot of work walking those fields. This year took its toll on me just walking out to set the decoys. Had no idea old age was setting in that fast.. :D

It's not about issues. Your fine, the thing is wear and tear, your vehicle is taking a lot more while hauling load like that.

But if u like running loads like that for 1.00 a mile plus coming empty then it's all good.

I only take 3200lb if it has straight truck rate

I've been running my tail off with usually between 500 - 2500lb probably for a higher rate then u get on that 3700 load.

Also I once put 3900lb on my promaster and it was sitting so low I told them to get that **** outta my van and go find a straight truck, that's when they offered 1.75 a mile I said a **** fukk no.

80% of my loads are under 1000lb and I still get over a dollar per loaded mile:)

BINGO....that is the issue! WHY? there are NO paybacks whatsoever....I can count on 1 hand since 2005 the number of over 3,000 lb loads....over 900,000 miles later....and my income has not seemed to suffer at all....

Thanks for the comments on the weight. I learn something new every day.

yeah....just giving you more info to absorb and think about.....like does taking this load really benefit me in any way? What is the downside? Is there a downside?.....oh sure you got a load....but ya know what? there is always another load.....
