From a drivers stand point. It doesn't matter how you slice and dice it, I'm going to be looking at all the pay divided by all the miles for any particular load. I like going a percentage route, because it shares the pain so to speak, and it self adjusts to the market. A fixed rate works...

I have a 2007 170" wheelbase with long body. There were three body lengths in 07--standard, long and extra long. My bed is 19 inches wide to accomodate three skids. You won't build much of a "sleeper" in that space. eb

I wonder how many curbs get knocked out by the delivery trucks as opposed to the overnighters? Or trucks that are just using the parking lot for a u-turn and aren't even staying? I wonder how you even encounter 50% of the drivers to know that they are not courteous when most of the drivers...

That's what I would think, but the two times I signaled a flat the drivers knew exactly where to look when they saw me signaling. They didn't look at me stupid-like, they looked straight at their mirrors and their wheels, and a thank you in return. eb
