Need your Help with Casino Night Prizes
Hi Everyone,
This is a fun time of the year for me, I get to
bring out my CIS Hot Fudge Sundae Cart for Driver
Appreciation Days
where I can spend time just talking to Owner Operators one-on-one.
The "main event" of the season, though, is definitely the Expedite Expo coming up July 26th and 27th
in Wilmington, Ohio.
CIS sponsors the Driver's Choice Awards with
daily $1,000 Cash Drawings at 4:00. When someone votes for "Best
Dealer Truck in Show", their ballot is automatically entered into the
drawing at 4:00.
You must be present to win, but you won't want to go anywhere anyway because later Friday evening everyone really does win with the CIS
Casino Night
from 7-10:00.
This event is so popular it's outgrown it's space and
has been upgraded to
take over the whole
main lobby of
Roberts Centre. If you want to see your fellow Owner Operators get
crazy, this is the place.
Casino Night consists of "play gambling" and wild games
. Then at 10:00, the "
Casino" closes, but winning begins with the drawing of names for prizes
that are donated by
Motor Carriers & Vendors.
My task before Casino Night
is to
beg for prize donations, and that's where I need your help!
I'm sending out the
email below to all Exhibitors
asking for contributions.
If your Motor Carrier is exhibiting at the Expo, they'll receive a copy of this email. Let them know how important Casino Night is to you, and ask for their support in contributing prizes.
If your Motor Carrier isn't exhibiting at the Expo, this is still a great way to have a sizable presence
and be recognized as a loyal supporter of our Expediting Community.
Last year it was $5,000 in prizes...can everyone help me to make it $10,000 this year

It’s that time again...Expedite Expo is a month away, and I’m gearing up to help make Casino Night an Exciting Event for our Expediting Community!
Casino Night consists of "play" gambling and games that increase in lively intensity as the night goes on....it's really quite amazing just to watch if you've never experienced it...
I’m writing to ask if I can count on your support in providing prizes that are drawn at the end of the night for Casino Night when this rousing party really kicks up.
Last year we had over $5,000 in prizes. When everyone gives something...it adds up quick, and creativity is highly encouraged!
This blast has outgrown it's prior space, so this year the excitement will be in the main Lobby of the Expo.
Before the event, your company logo is displayed throughout the Expo on “The Board†of charitable contributors, with your prize and name labeled clearly on the prize table and shouted out at the drawings.
On Time Media will also be promoting the names of Donors by thanking Contributors to Casino Night in the Show Directory….but she needs the names ASAP in order to have time to print the names in the Directory and Logos on “The Boardâ€.
So today all I need is a “yes†or “no†that you wish to contribute a prize…we can work out the specific donation closer to the Expo if that's most convenient.
Can I have your permission to add your logo as a Contributor to Casino Night prizes?
