Fuel for Thought
Stocking The Studio
A few weeks ago I drove over to Lansing to meet another driver who had a load coming to the area. He got a load back out before we had a chance to meet. It wasn't a total waste, because while waiting I visited an Office Max store that was closing and found a couple nice pieces of equipment for my studio. The store was still using the paper cutters, so I couldn't pick them up until today. The ream cutter slices through an inch thick stack of paper. The second cutter is a rail trimmer. Both are industrial grade. I'll probably visit more store closings after these finds.
I'm still figuring out what kind of fuel mileage I'm getting on the new engine. The high mpg yesterday with a slight tailwind was 27.8 mpg. At the end of the other engine I couldn't get 20 mpg with a strong tailwind. The end of day average yesterday was 26.6 mpg.
