More Libraries And Stickley Museum
I like using libraries during downtime. I explain more about the idea in the libraries I like thread in the forums.
Henrietta Public Library near Rochester, New York. I’ve been here before and think I got a load and forgot to write about it. The library is near overnight Walmart parking and is central to most routes into and out of Rochester. My cellphone signal is strong even inside the building.
Fayetteville Free Library near Syracuse, NY. This library caught my attention, because it also houses the Stickley Museum for the furniture manufacturer L. & J.G. Stickley. The Fayetteville library bought the old Stickley building when the furniture manufacturer outgrew the building in 2003. Since then Stickley worked with the Cooperstown Graduate Program for Museum Studies to set up the Stickley Museum in one section of the library. The gallery is nicely arranged to show the history of the company's very fine product lines through the years. This is a good change of pace for vanners if interested in art, manufacturing or history. The library has all the other traits of a good library too.
