Fuel for Thought

a new operator

I want to start by thanking Jenny for the time, experience, and heart that she shared with us the past year (plus). I remember seeing Jenny at her first Expedite Expo during a workshop. She was so shy. Linda Caffee was directing introductions of attendees in the workshop, and Jenny tried to push her intro off on Nick, because “it’s his van...”. It was the very early days of Team JEnemy. Now Jenny along with Nick have been running their own Vanning 101 workshops. Jenny has it so together I can picture her running her own educational workshops (I am waiting for her paint touch up class). Way to go Jenny and thanks. And we can’t forget Dale who laid the groundwork for the 4-Wheeling blog the two previous years, and Lawrence who brought us all together. Thank you.

I just figured out that Dale contributed from August 24, 2009 to May 11, 2011, and Jenny from May 16, 2011 to August 5, 2012. That means I’ll be the lead keyboard/touchpad operator going into the fourth year of the 4-Wheeling blog. We’ll learn more about me as we chat in the days and weeks to come, but for the basics.... In person I usually answer to Eric. Online I go by ebsprintin. Written out it would look something like E.B. Sprintin. I drive a 2007 Dodge Sprinter, and it’s leased to Load One. I’ve been driving various vehicles over-the-road since the beginning of 2006.

I don’t have a concrete plan how I will address the blog, but I already see threads of thought that follow tinkering, survival, art, business, ice cream, and people in general, and somehow I’ll stuff it into three pallet spaces of a white metal box that is usually moving.
