This is a new development of interest. There is no denying that. The affidavit seems credible on its face. But as I read the entire article carefully, things get a bit mushy. If the judge accepts this into evidence, Willis and Wade will offer their explanations. We'll see how clear or mushy things get after that. One thing is clear. At present, this is not good for Willis or Wade.
The threshold for the appearance of impropriety has certainly been met.
