Many aren’t able to be safe in a lot of areas. They don’t have the means to escape it currently either. But they bear the brunt of what others with better means vote for woke policies while tucked away in a safer community. My wife and I will do well in either scenario; (a) Trump wins and converts America into an authoritarian state, or (b) Trump loses and democracy prevails.
My wife and I are highly educated white people who own a corporation. We are well equipped to prosper and feel safe in either America. But we prefer democracy because we believe no one should be above the law; and all US citizens should have the equal right to vote, and through that, have an equal chance at life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Most people believe in the tenants of equal rights and protection, but some may say that and then rationalize to themselves something entirely different when it comes to:
Trump-
1.indicted with an untested legal theory in NY.
2.indicted because DOJ wants to criminalize the PRA and the rarely used and not pertinent to Presidents and former Presidents Espionage Act.
3. Indicted for challenging an election and using a protocol that was constitutionally accepted in the 1960 Hawaii election with regards to “alternate electors”.
4. Dusting off 150 year old laws that aren’t even relevant and charging Trump.
His supporters:
1.rounded up seniors for using that same constitutionally accepted protocol in sending “alternate electors” and charging them with felonies.
2. The killing of an unarmed female protester Ashli
Babbitt.
3. Many supporters overcharged with trespassing on restricted grounds and DOJ concocting the misapplication of a law parading of an official proceeding.
