Dropped in Florance KY at 1718....I was loaded an hour later and called in to let dispatck know that making the protect time (1700) was going to be tight and figured I'd be in around 1800...Frankie was ok with it. no problem...

I had no sooner pulled into the TA after dropping and the phone rang....I think he said his name was Brian from upstairs at Load 1...ok....He just wanted to call and thank me for makin the delivery so close to the protect time...he said that i had been tracking about 3 hours late all the way along, but because I called in, they were aware, but he appreciated that i was only 18 minutes late....

That was a 1st, from both carriers I have been with...it was a pleasant deal, yea we sometimes get those calls wanting to know why we aren't moving while loaded and if we are going to make the delivery...but this was the opposite, a thanks for getting there and keeping the client happy...

I have to say, if wasn't expected and i didn't even think about or ever have, but it was appreciated...Thanks Brian...

Oh, there were 3 Cv/sprinters ahead of me, so i am home...and goin to bed...:)

Case of the missing miles was solved..and I went thru proper channels to get the answer...and waited till now to post..
Our system works! from Tim then unto MikeB then almost M.J. Sr.

When all parties are professional and act accordingly without all the stamping and jumping up an down. It works.

Who woulda thunk there are 2 Northridge Ohios within 40 miles of each other...

All that for $3.60...:p...LOL

Good Sunday Morning..Gang...:D

Above the dark horizon soon
new light rays will appear.
They signify to all the world
a fresh new day is here.
The sun has risen, and its light
may bring us hope for peace--
and with a deeper faith in God,
we pray that wars may cease.
Our time on earth is but a test--
a test we must not fail.
By building values, growth in faith,
may love from hate prevail.
So each new day we start once more
with rising of the sun.
May we have gained in stature when
our final day is done

As I look across the meadow
and see the hoary frost
coupled with the snow and wind
I fear my summer is so lost..

You should see the trees outside this morning...they're all covered with frost and combined with the snow on the ground it sure looks like ol Jack Frost is settled in for the winter!

Breakfast here...just a simple sausage patty and egg and toast...but it sure is good!

Enjoyed egg and bacon wrap and a couple of crullers from Timbo's.

All washed down with the required Timbo's large black coffee. :D
