There is a Wal Mart just about 5 miles after you cross in to PA where OH 14 turns into PA 51 Its within the 30 miles of Pittsburgh, and I always get good loads from there, Shippingport, Ellwood City. Just an ideal.

Yep I lived in Salem, Ohio at one time and I used to pull a bunch of loads out of PA. After siiting since Sunday evening I finally got a crap run from Niles, Il. To Kalamazoo, MI. for 163 miles:mad:

yeap it is, but to be honest, i was lookin forward to runnin out here for a week or so, but hey, I'll take this one and head home after.. The run that got me from TX to CA was over 1300 too!

I can say that I am not hurting for miles this month at all, and they pay per mile isn't bad....ive been pretty lucky since march, i hope it contiunes...now if i can make up my mind if i want to go with a bigger Van type unit, either hi-cube right at 10,000 gvw or I might look at the cargomaxx as it looks as if they have added to the overall length but i can't tell for sure from the pictures ive seen, or maybe move up to a 33,000 gvw straight and run that solo.....

whatever i do, it won't happen right away, but not too long off as i think there will be some darn good deals to be had on old inventory chassis.........

well, siting in hurricane,w.va-after my first week of running solo in about 2years. lost my co-driver for awhile due to a family illness so i'm doing the solo bit. spent most of the week bouncing around indiana-but got one this am from the cincy area to huntington w.va. hoping to get one for over the weekend that has some miles to it. these short runs are not going to pay the bills-but i guess some pay is better than none!
everyone have a good weekend and stay safe!:):):)

That's where I'll be....they've got bands and it's one of the largest car shows in the country.....worth checkin out. On another note; I've got a load that picks up on Monday in Toledo, Ohio and goes to Waxahatchie, TX....guess I'll be roasting when I'm down there, so I'm enjoying the nice cool weather....No storms here either.

We were at the J in Blacksburg, SC yesterday for a while (5th out there) then went to Spartanburg to Walmart after our gps led us all over the countryside looking for one around Gaffney. After a check of trucks in the area, we headed down to Columbia.

if that is the one i am thinking of it is well off the road. is that exit 90/92? the sign is not ver good either. if ou were just shopping there is a small town piggly wiggly in blacksburg.

columbia j? parked there last nite in front. not a large lot and lots of late nite parts swapping going on behind the rv parking.

Happy Father Day from Dodge City, KS
Brought a load out here on Friday and we've been here since. If we were hauling a tanker, or a bull wagon, we'd be in great shape. Found a laundromat up the road, so we'll get that done and maybe see a few of the sights. All seems to be within a few miles of us.
