Woke up hungry, went to Denny's. Got a load to Meritor in Troy, Mich.

Somewhere in the night, my rear spot mirror either fell off or was "adopted" by someone else. I didn't hear it leave, so I think it was taken.:mad:

Update: it didn't scratch the paint when it departed, so I'm pretty sure it had some help. What is it about people who feel the need to turn what's mine into what's theirs? Who the hell do they think they are? Government?:confused:

Looked at Allstate's capacity page found 400 units of all sizes within 50 miles of Troy. Four. Hundred. No Detroiter for me!! :eek:

Now OOS at the J in Lansing. First food, then sleep, then shower, then two tires (the front ones have served with honor, it's time they retire). Somewhere in there, I'll stop at the Square One mothership and say hey :)

Bored=Not Working and not bringing my Oil Paints or a Book to dive into while waiting.
2 Short Runs for the Week (Toledo/Louisville and Franklin/Columbus, IN) Not Good.

I would stay in my little house in the treed neighborhood I love. Would Pay the Mortgage off and every winter go south somewhere for Months till Spring back home...different Loactions and Paint My Heart Out!
...And surprise people wherever with Gifts of things they Need Randomly, Anonymously.

Told em 30 hrs. Near Indy is enough...drivin home.
Dispatcher sounded surprised at that length of time empty there.

Dispatcher sounding surprised when you tell them you have been sitting for 30 hours kinda scares me. Seems to me they ought to be looking at one more sort/report of their resources and do some proactive work on their longest sitting O/O assets. But that is just me, I always enjoyed doing my job, plus things to help my company and fellow employees.

Look - I am happy
