Cool.
I was born in Whittier, California the State where my Folks met on a Blind Date.
They were born in Kansas and Nebraska....escaped Farmland.
My parents were from Near Charleston, and had moved to Cleveland, they had gone home for Christmas mom was pregnant with me, got snowed in and boom I came into the world!

I actually prefer to be treated like a number. I'm not there to make friends and get all buddy buddy with my dispatcher. I want to make money and that is all that matters to me. It's strictly business for me. I also made good money at Bolt. The only complaint I ever had about Bolt was that they would still call you with load offers when you go out of service. They never respected my personal time. They say in their orientation that all they want out of you is 21 days a month of being in service. That leaves 9 days you can be out of service, but they still bug you when you take your allowed time off. They also said that 99 percent of your driving would be at night, and if you have a problem with that, you can leave right now. I think one old dude got up and left orientation. I pay attention during orientation. lol.

My older Brother and Sister since I was about 3 years old I am told, called me Bizzy or Biz for short.
Cuz I always was. Busy. I never questioned it, guess I liked it as a kid even.
Dad, while we lived in Texas called me Hoop. C'mon Hoop, let's Hop!
To this day my Brother still doesn't Call me Lisa.
I Love that!

They sound like such reasonable people.
I meant that they will give you a 1600 miler deliver direct, and if you accept it, you better get it there on time. There are a lot of drivers who claim they can run this and run that, most can't.

Been running those runs a lot, actually I find the longer runs are easier as direct than short ones...50 mph dispatch on 1200 miles is 24 hours but takes 18.5 to drive and if u load early it's even better.

First, about to hit 65 and have the bladder size of a walnut so every hour needs a 10 minute stop. I love the 500 to 800 runs, BUT, when offered a longer run I know I need at least one 5 hr break so I am honest with them and if they can't swing it I pass.
