    Anyone leasing their van?

On another note, it doesn't take an expensive truck to get started in expediting. If unsure of whether this is right for you, buy a cheap truck and see how it all works before investing the big bucks. There are cheap dependable trucks out there that will fill your needs till you get your feet...

    I guess you heard...

Also heard last night, that the old truck stop on top of Monteagle mountain, Tn (I24) has been bought by Pilot. Of course this is CB talk, but I know the old one is closed and I heard it has been torn down already. It was a pretty nasty one, but could always find a parking spot there. May have...

    Who dat?

I tried striking up a conversation with two van drivers this week in Memphis. Strange two these were. They made me feel like I was one of the panhandlers who you try to avoid. Don't know what they were all about. Unfriendly or untrusting or what? Oh well!

    I guess you heard...

The Nashville T/A has reopened. There was a story on the home page of EO about it. What wasn't mentioned was a local comment they made to their neighbors. They announced that they guarantee the pests such as rats and roaches have been removed. But admitted that even with all the remodeling and...

    2003 cat 3126

I have searched for years for a manual or download for a 3126. All I can find is from CAT and cost big bucks. Like $500 something just for a manual.

What Do You Do To Earn Your Pay?

If given the chance, I try to be early for pickup, early for delivery. Keep broker updated as requested. Appear clean and groomed. Help load or unload if necessary. Whine only to my broker if something not right, never to shipper or consignee. Put all my customers first. Make sure load is...

Accident on I65 south around MM 55 in KY

You must of had to sit awhile before you got off. Going around those exits shouldn't have took that much time.

    Topic 2- earnings

I am not believing it! You have finally made a post that I agree with. (Except the lawyer accountant part, of course). We all move freight from point A to point B. Yet we all have our own little way of doing it. All of us have a plan, but all the plans differ from each other. It would be...

    12 Volt Electric Blankets

I have tried 2 of the China crap 12v blankets. I bought them from 2 different suppliers with different brand names. Both of them gave trouble in the switch. It is supposed to cut off after a couple of hours. Instead of cutting completely off, the switch just got overheated and started smoking...

    Centramatics oil leak

I have had the powder and it worked great at higher speed. At lower speeds I could feel a little shimmy. Faster I would go, the better the powder controlled it. I would use it again if needed.

    ok some ? here

They are a very good company and have unlimited resources. But you better have a big mailbox, cause they will try to sell you everything they have. When I ran under my own authority, I used Foley to get me compliant. Every few days, I got a flyer trying to sell me something else that would help...

    start up questions

Your questions are of a general nature and will be hard to answer. I would say you IRP tags would depend on what state you bought them in. Maintenance cost of your truck will vary with each driver. You would have to get alot of drivers to give you their costs to ever come up with an average. I...
