    34 Hour Restart ?

My wife and I both had 34 hour restarts on Monday, July 1st. Mine at 0032 and hers at 1000. We are at home out of service from July 4th until Monday July 8th. Will we be eligible for restarts on Monday July 8th, 168 hours since our last restart?

    Anti Virus and Internet Security

New HOS start today - figure out how to make it work

I'm doing my first mandatory 30 in a rest stop on I95 in Florida. (Near Phil's vacation home) Just ate a big chef salad I bought last night for the occasion. Plenty of parking available last night at all of the I95 rest areas. Only problem so far is I ran out of Ranch dressing. Sent from my EVO...

New HOS start today - figure out how to make it work

I saw a driver using the fuel aisle for his 30 last night. The TA employees had to come out and run him off. And there were empty parking spots available. Sent from my EVO using EO Forums mobile app

Yes, there are members here that are BCO's. We were with Landstar for 8 months before returning to FedEx. We were never discouraged from posting anything anywhere by either Landstar or FedEx.

    New Exctr. rules and F.S.C.

To us it's always been about the all mileage rate. DHPL, DHPU, Loaded, FSC, etc. It's all the same. There is a certain rate "all miles" we are looking for. If we get it we run the load. If we don't we politely decline.

    Scanners

Why do we need scanners? There are apps for our smart phones that allow us to scan and send documents. If FedEx is worried about security they could always have there own app designed. It seems we are always two steps behind the available technology. Sent from my EVO using EO Forums mobile app

Those of you that have 05-06 engines. What are your plans for California next year?

Re: Those of you that have 05-06 engines. What are your plans for California next yea From the Team Run Smart website: How did CARB get their authority? The answer stems from California’s unique topography and huge population densities that are packed into geographic regions surrounded by...

Those of you that have 05-06 engines. What are your plans for California next year?

Re: Those of you that have 05-06 engines. What are your plans for California next yea I've also heard the retro fit decreases performance and increases fuel consumption. These older engines were not designed to run with the increased back pressure of a DPF. I would put the $16k towards the down...

Those of you that have 05-06 engines. What are your plans for California next year?

Re: Those of you that have 05-06 engines. What are your plans for California next yea Regardless of enforcement I don't think our carrier (FedEx CC) or any reputable carrier will send trucks into California knowing they are in violation of that states law. Once the first accident happens the...

Is it safe to put our winter coats and heavy clothes away yet? Down here in Florida winter ended in March but this seems to be the winter that wouldn't end in the north.

A Striking Contrast Among Motor Carriers

I always thought the reason FedEx didn't allow overnight parking was because they didn't want drivers trashing the parking lot. After a few weeks it would look like and smell like a truckstop parking lot. Sent from my EVO using EO Forums mobile app
