    Living in a wireless world

If you have enough minutes to waste so to speak, purchase a connectivity kit for you cell phone. It should be less than $50.00 bucks, software and cable for your phone. It will be slow, about the same speed or less than the old telephone modem, but for checking email or surfing when you have a...

    Whatever happened to customer service?

Next time, take a digital photograph of both prices, if you are fortunate enought to have a digital camera. Document the discussion and the report it to the STATE DEPARTMENT OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS. Or what ever State title handles such complaints. It's a sad day when you get such an answer. I...

    Hello Panther II

Key word to this whole situation is two wrongs don't make a right. First and formost, all of us need to read and understand our contract. I know in most cases when changing companies a contract is put in front of you and you have only a few minutes to read it and sign it, at least that has been...

    Chevy Van Problem

Tks for the response, was beginning to believe it was the tranny. Fortunately I talked with a Tri State drive this AM and he said change the fuel filter. Did that, PROBLEM SOLVED. Now what I do not understand is: Going down the road, mash it down, engine revs up and no speed. I would think...

    Chevy Van Problem

Just a quick "help" note. I drive a 2002 1 Ton Chevy Van G3500. Vortec engine with 450 (I think trans). Had Chevy do a diagnostics today, got charged and they can not find the problem. Here's the story. When driving down the road at cruise speed I can continue to accelerate with no problem...

    Oil drain plug

This product looks interesting; however I am already oversized as a result of grown men not having the intelligence to replace an oil plug. My biggest fear has always been an oil change, something a 10 year old could do; but that is what you get when you go to some of the un-mentionable places...

    Miles?

Based on what you are saying as to the condition of your vehicle I would hang on to it. I had a 98 chevy 1 ton extended, put 447,000 on it and had a good deal so I traded it in. I am at 200,000 on my 2002 van. You can look forwared to changing out the fuel pump eventually, surprised you have...

Anyone know about natural gas vans?

Don't know about natural gas, but I had a chevy pick up and put a 100 gallon propane tank on it and converted it to run propane. I had a cut off switch that I could switch to gas with and it ran fine. You see a lot of these out in TX

    removing stickers

Best thing I have used is a hair dryer, head the decals and then peel them off, most of the time if you go slow they remove very eaisly. Any residue (adhesive) I removed with WD40.

    live ammo

It is good to know that drivers are concerned about information being posted which might be in the line of "aiding and abetting"; however, in my opinion there was some unnecessary "chastizing" going on, on all sides to the issue. If you really are concerned about information being dissiminated...

    Log book for vans

As previously stated regulations do require any vehicle to log if you are running a placcard load of hazmat. So this would include a van if you were placarded. Placard load is the key word. But my question is can you leagally carry hazmat in a cargo van if the area of containment is not...

Just a quick question and suggestion in regards to insurance. I have ran for two different companies in the past and was of the impression that the deduction for insurance included comprehensive insurance as well as liability. When questioning my current company I have been advised that...

    Fuel Pump Problems

Re Fuel Pump: Chevy 1998 1 ton. First one went out at 147,000. Had it replaced. Important advice. If you have your fuel pump replaced by a GM dealer, this fuel pump is guaranteed for life as I understand it. I had my 2d replaced free at about 300,000. There are other parts which carry the...
