I know it is cold when…

We now have actual storage under our bed and I use every inch of that space.  The area under the bed is not insulated and is often frigid in the winter months.  

I was surprised the first time many years ago when I went inside to take my shower and I could not get my shampoo out of the bottle.   It was partially frozen.   To cure that problem I bought a better-insulated shower organizer and I do not run into that problem as often.  

I laugh often over some of the goofy things that we take for granted out here on the road such as our frozen shampoo.   We lead a different life style than most and I am reminded that if this life style does did not suit me how frustrated I could easily become.   The choice is mine to laugh off some of the oddities or fight the goofiness.   To fight the goofiness would be a waste of precious time that I can use to improve in other ways.

I hope on our next truck that the areas are better insulated and we do not have this problem.   We plan to have the next truck longer and as such, we will make improvements accordingly.
