We left home the third of January with intentions of being home in late February to get our taxes ready to be sent off to our accountant.   This plan changed as we ended up with an extra few days at our youngest daughters house and I had our mail forwarded to us.

Each time we planned to go home or got close the weather was miserable so we put it off.   Finally the decision was made to wait until our yearly party at our house and stay home for a little extra time.   This kept us on away from home almost four months and that is to long!

The funny part was on our way home it snowed and snowed and there were threats of tornados.   This time though we were determined and we made it home and the weather cleared up the next day.

As usual the truck is cleaned out and all ready at the shop for routine maintenance and we are settling in to sleeping in a bed that does not move.   It takes several days before we can wake up and not wonder where we are and get oriented to the bedroom.

It will be an exhausting few weeks and before we know it we will be heading back out and looking for new adventures .
