Great American Trucking Show
We will be attending GATS and have a busy schedule planned. As usual Bob and I split up during the truck show as his interest differs from mine.
The Trucking Solutions Group will be very active during GATS with the Driver Health Awareness Walk being held on August 27th starting in room D-168 and walking inside. We will have t-shirts and water bottles for walkers until supplies run out.
The American Red Cross in conjunction with the Trucking Solutions Group will have a blood drive August 26th and 27th in the Fit for the Road/Trucking Solutions Group Health pavilion. There is no appointment needed and the hours are from 11:00 to 4:00 both days.
The Trucking Solutions Group will have a workshop in their pavilion at 3:30 on August 25th; Driver-to-Driver Workshop; Open forum discussion about how to stay fit and eat healthy while on the road. This is a great chance to stop and meet some of the members of the Trucking Solutions Group.
The Trucking Solutions Group really appreciates all that Randall-Reilly has done to help us bring these events to drivers.
Expediters Online will also have a live workshop Thursday August 25th 1:00 pm – Friday August 26th 11:00 am and Saturday August 27th 11:00 am in booth 9039. Bob and I will have an overview of what is expediting and will answer questions.
I will also be working in the Women in Trucking Booth # 20159 on Friday from 2:00 to 3:00 and on Saturday from 12:00 TO 3:00. I hope you will stop by this booth and if not members join and if members stop by and say hello! There are several workshops going on in the booth throughout the day that sound interesting.
