This rest area is beside the Colorado River with easy access to the riverbanks and offers the ability to sit on one of the many rocks and enjoy the scenery.   The "No Name", the rest areas name also has access to the Glenwood Canyon Recreation Path, which is on my bucket list to walk.

The path is 16.3 miles long and can be used by bikers, skaters, walkers, and disabled visitors.    The canyon walls in places can rise as high as 1300' above the Colorado River.   Glenwood Canyon is considered one of the most scenic natural features along the interstate highways.

The well maintained and from what I have seen concrete path meanders beside the river, over a few bridges and through the beautiful canyon.   During the winter the path is often impassible due to snow and in the spring the river is often as high or higher then the path.

This rest area is a great place to take a break and reflect on what a wonderful life we have.
