I agree with Leo and the others. I am so sick of being fed the b.s. about the poor American Auto Worker. As a vet, (and the son of a Korean War vet), we would never think about buying a non American car. Then my dad had problems with three American new cars in a row and the customer service was horrible, so he jumped ship and I was mad at him. Then I started expediting, and put I face to these UAW members, and for the most part it was a very nasty face. I've had a full truck almost unloaded in KC, with maybe 1 skid left, and shift change came and was told I have to wait a few hours, and I'd "better not touch that skid". In Shreveport, I asked nicely, (I know how to play the game), of an approximate unload time after I showed up on schedule. I was told that "It will be when we get to you, and if you ask again it will be tomorrow" After that I bought a great Japanese car with the attitude, why should I care about the "American Auto Worker" when they don't give a crap about the Independent American Trucker and their families? (Saturn in Spring Hill is an exception, they are always really nice)
