I was listening to Glenn Beck today, (wonderful source I know, however), he said the theory about "trauma" being a deterent to pregnancy was advanced in a thesis in 1972, and then taken as gospel in 1999. A nurse calling into his show said she was taught such in her medical studies.

Don't distract the pro-aborts with the facts. Their bloodlust drives them.

Hmmmm...sounds kind of like the debate that went on in this country regarding the personhood of blacks and Indians. Curious you regard this, then, as forcing morals and beliefs on others. It was the Church that insisted they had souls and were persons. Do you object that the Church succeeded in that, our do you object that the Church influenced society into all that "Don't murder," "Don't steal" morality?

A ridiculous statement.

That's as accurate as saying nobody would appreciate a kidney or liver. Just as with transplants, there are tens of thousands, if not more, heterosexual couples begging to adopt a healthy baby. They take out ads in national newspapers even. There are enough that the babies, who don't deserve to be dismembered alive, can all be adopted and there will still be couples waiting for a baby.

Not ridiculous at all....correct there are alot of GAY and hetro couples wanting to adopt...but there are way more unwanted children then adopters..look at the foster care system its bursting at the seams!!.do you remember being in your mothers womb?? I would remember getting the snot kicked out of me..starved... being totally unwanted...I HAVE SEEN IT!!
I say make abortions easier not harder..

If that were true, there would be no ads from couples begging for the chance to adopt. Now, most couples want healthy, beautiful caucasian babies. But if you're saying there should be more abortions (which would affect the other-than-caucasian babies), you're flirting with eugenics.
Abortion is first-degree murder in every circumstance without exception. But based on your other posts, it doesn't surprise me that you back it.

And yet it's not. Wanting it to be, and wishing it to be, is not the same as it being so. First degree murder is the premeditated unlawful killing of a human being. In order for your assertion to be true, we have to redefine certain terms to mean something very different than they are currently defined.

even by law a first trimester pregnancy is IT called a human being...no murder charge, no child endangerment......the mold on a crust of bread has more signs of life.

...different than they are currently defined, yes. But as they are currently defined IS the re-definition, just like Congress re-defines adult weapon to suit its agenda, just like Congress in the past redefined human and human rights, etc.

We are talking about abortion in the case of rape. If abortion is first degree murder then i guess forcing a rape victim to give birth would be brutality.
