- Trump and 18 allies are accused of conspiring to unlawfully overturn the 2020 presidential election results in Georgia. The indictment says they worked together in a criminal enterprise toward that end.
- This pattern of racketeering activity makes it possible to charge these people with RICO violations under GA law.
- Those charged include several high-profile names including Guiliani, Meadows, Powell, Eastman, Clark.
- Willis intends to try all 19 defendants together.
- Depending on the defendant, the charges include: (1) making false claims of election fraud, (2) false electors, (3) forged documents, (4) stealing voter data, (5) tampering with voting equipment, and (6) intimidation of election worker.
- Arrest warrants have been issued and the defendants were given 10 days to turn themselves in.
- Trump has lashed out at Willis, saying the indictment is politically motivated.

There are multiple quotes and occasions where she has showed bias. She should recuse out of integrity of the process.
Will the Fulton County Case be Moved to Federal Court?
That possibility exists. We'll know within 30 days of the Fulton County arraignments if Trump and/or other defendants seek that move. If they do not make that motion within the 30 day window, we'll know the case stays with Fulton County.

Yes. We would expect that. I also expect Trump and others to fight like heck to move this case to federal court.
You keep saying that and Trump keeps NOT asking her to recuse. On August 6, he said he would immediately demand Chutkan's recusal. But to date, he has not make the formal motion.
Maybe you should send a message to Trump to tell him to get on with it.
I'd be happy to see him make the request. He's going to lose, so making the request gets that item out of the way once and for all.

I've been waiting a long time to see Trump charged with felony crimes. This is very satisfying. While it will be years before we know the trial outcomes, the grand juries of ordinary people have issued their indictments. The indictments document the charges and evidence for the historical record. For generations, and hopefully forever, Trump will be known as the most corrupt president in US history.
