The Trump Card...

They'll just ignore it, and in a dishonest way rationalize to themselves it's somehow not relevant. But why would they care if they can get Leftist activist judges giving them everything they desire, along with a heavily populated Dem jury ready to be spoonfed whatever cochamanie argument the Leftist prosecutor feeds them?
Do your leftist activist judges include Trump-appointed, Republican-confirmed Judge Cannon in Florida's ruby red Southern District? This judge is treating the indictment as legit and pre-trial motions are are proceeding apace.

Trump, his lawyers and his poor or frivolous cases have been slammed dozens of times by Republican-confirmed judges at all court levels. The implication you draw above is simply incorrect.

The motions have yet to be filed, but they will be. And a few different ones too, so stay tuned.

Two motions have been filed. One by Trump. One by DOJ. They pertain to the trial date. DOJ is arguing for a December trial date. Trump is asking to postpone the trial indefinitely. Cannon will take them up this Tuesday.

And you're right. several additional motions are expected. That's how the process works.

It’s just a motion of continuance. Most likely the trial won’t happen until after the election, which is the right call. No pressing need to try this case now.
They have the documents and no reason to influence and interfere with a presidential election by having a trial before.

Really? That's important. Have you notified Special Counsel Jack Smith, Fulton County DA Frani Willis and AZ State AG Mayes? They should know what you know. Think of all work they are putting in and all the evidence they are developing because they are missing a truth you know.
You mean the ones ignoring the laws.........

We are talking about the Democrats.....they do nothing rational when it concerns trump.

A Democratic prosecutor (Bragg in NY) recently prosecuted the Trump Organization for certain tax fraud crimes and the Trump Organization was proven guilty in a court of law.

When there is reason to believe an organization is guilty of tax crimes, is it rational to investigate and prosecute that organization?

Don't know why you brought that up but no it is not rational.....when it is almost always focused on trump.

Georgia Supreme Court Dismisses Trump Bid to Shut Down Fulton County Probe

"The Georgia Supreme Court on Monday dismissed a long shot legal bid from former President Donald Trump to essentially shut down the Fulton County criminal probe into his attempts to overturn his 2020 election defeat in Georgia.

"The decision was unanimous. Eight of the nine members of the Georgia Supreme Court were appointed by Republican governors."
(Source)

This case is a state criminal case. Charging decisions are expected by Sept. 1. If indicted and found guilty in this Fulton County court of law, the defendants cannot be pardoned by a US president.

Is Trump actually a target in this probe? Is he at risk of being indicted? While that has not yet been officially confirmed, Trump himself seems to think he is at risk. Why else would he beg (unsuccessfully) the Georgia Supreme Court to intervene for his benefit?

GA Supreme Court Rules Fulton County DA Willis is NOT Disqualified

Trump has been saying for months that Fulton County DA Willis should be disqualified from investigating and prosecuting a case against him because Willis is a Democrat who maintains an anti-Trump bias. Trump brought that issue before a court before and lost. More recently, he brought it before the GA Supreme Court. News broke yesterday that he lost there too.

"The decision was unanimous. Eight of the nine members of the Georgia Supreme Court were appointed by Republican governors."

"Trump’s legal challenges also sought a court order blocking Willis, an elected Democrat, from participating in any further proceedings related to the criminal investigation. The Georgia Supreme Court said Monday that Trump’s petition to the high court 'has not presented … either the facts or the law necessary to mandate Willis’s disqualification by this Court at this time on this record.'”

Prediction: Trump Will Drop Out of Presidential Race in Return for Plea Deal With No Jail Time

This is not my prediction. I've just seen it bubble up in a couple places. I don't think Trump shows any inclination now toward a plea deal. At present, this prediction (Source) is being broadcast by FOX and others for its entertainment value, and even then it's getting little attention.

Trump shows no inclination toward a plea deal now, but as multiple cases proceed and pressure grows, who knows? A Trump change of mind is not inconceivable. In the past, Trump has boasted loud and proud that he does not settle legal cases, and then he goes on to settle some.

It's Official: Trump is a Target of the January 6 Grand Jury Investigation

"Former President Donald Trump says he received a letter from special counsel Jack Smith stating that he is the target of a January 6 grand jury investigation on Tuesday.

"Trump says he initially received the letter on Sunday and said he expects to face both an arrest an indictment."
(Source)

This is good news for Trump, right? His popularity and fundraising pick up every time he is indicted. The other candidates who are falling behind in fundraising should get the hint. Go out and commit some serious crimes so you too can get indicted and receive a fundraising boost from people who think getting arrested is a good attribute for those who would lead our country.
