The Trump Card...

The classified documents were also moved twice. It didn’t have a scif and secret service protection, nor even security for that matter. Unlike what Trump had.
We have a wonderful opportunity here to rationally examine how Biden and Trump are treated under the law regarding the classified documents in question. It's disappointing to see you use the cases purely for spin instead.

I think a side-by-side comparison would be really interesting and informative. Any number of questions can be asked and the two cases can be directly compared.

For example:
How many documents are involved? For Trump it is one number. For Biden it is another.
When did the Government learn they were missing? For Trump it is one date. For Biden it is another.
How did they learn they were missing?
What did the National Archives do when they were discovered missing?
Etc, Etc. Etc.

I think the law should be equally applied to both Trump and Biden. And I'm watching with great interest to see if it happens. My watching is guided by questions like those asked above.

Except one was a President with authority to declassify documents. The other was a former VP ( without that authority) and was a private citizen.

2 different locations and from what I understand some of those files that Biden had was not to ever have even as vice president.
Second thing is Biden had the files for OVER 6 years....in unsecured closets.

Yep, a private citizen moving classified documents around here and there and over there.

As you know, I've been consistently critical of news stories that cite unidentified sources or unconfirmed info. In many cases, the stories turn out to be true as they further develop. But in many other cases, the stories turn out to be unsubstantiated and their writers are rarely held accountable for the BS they put out.

In this case, regarding the second batch of documents that are said by some to exist, all we have to go on is "a person familiar with the matter," and the location of the second batch "remains unclear."

Some details about the first batch are clear and confirmed, and more details about that batch are likely to emerge. I'll remain skeptical about the so-called second batch, if it exists at all, until actual facts emerge.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves on this. Remember the unsourced stories that had Matt Gaetz going to jail for child abuse? Nothing came of it because there seems to have been nothing there. But the unsourced stories ran wild for a time.

That's a fair and reasonable approach, but the White House has noticeably not denied anything about the second batch of records. Considering Biden's cognitive state, he likely has no idea where he may have left records and documents over the years since he was VP to the present day.

That's a fair and reasonable approach...
... except the Hunter Biden laptop was absolutely positively confirmed to be Russian propaganda, Trump was elected because of Russian interference, Trump insulted the military by calling them “suckers and losers,” and Trump is literally Hitler, and all that came from confirmed, trusted sources like the legacy media.

Perhaps a more reasoned approach would be to err on the side of extreme skepticism of any news story. The business model of the news media is no longer to inform the public.

Fair and reasonable is not in the Democrat leadership playbook.
Trump at least had the documents in a secure room.
Biden had documents from 6 years ago that he should never ever had in his position as vice president.....in a closet at a think tank.
One gets raided the other nothing.

The last tally I recall is 16 people who worked at the think tank being employed in the Biden administration for the last couple of years, including our current Secretary of State. Soooo, the answer to the question of when did "the government" find out about the classified documents at the think tank, is quite likely 2 years ago, likely 6 years ago. The National Archives knew, at least superficially, the materials Trump had with him at Mar-a-Lago. They didn't have a clue that Biden had materials at the think tank.

Nixon famously erased 8 1/2 minutes of what is universally assumed to be incriminating audio. Does anyone really and truly believe there's not even the slightest possibility that Biden didn't shred and burn documents incriminating to Hunter and The Big Guy's corrupt activities?

The fact that Biden had classified documents that as vice president he should not have had is what could be impeachable. That is a serious crime.....but well hes a Democrat so nothing will happen. I wonder if Biden and company pushed the trump raid to help cover Biden's monumental screw up.
Isn't having classified documents that your NOT cleared to have treason level crimes?

We also have to wonder about the stories and events that aren't being reported. The Hunter Biden laptop story was quashed before it was spun as Russian propaganda, and so was the UPenn documents discovery. Had both been reported in a timely manner they would likely have unfavorably influenced elections for the Democrats. So where does the public find reliable sources of information?

Fox News now reporting the 2nd batch of documents was found in the garage of Biden's Wilmington home.

Biden just made a statement to the press, saying the classified documents were in a "locked" garage with his Corvette. This is getting surreal.

Joe is supposed to be president yet his lawyers don’t want him to ask what the classified documents pertain to. Interesting…
Shouldn’t the President need to know that information?
