It now appears that Truth Social will never be approved by Google. That could change if Truth Social more strictly moderated its content, but that is unlikely.

With Google taking this public stand, it's possible Apple may develop the same content-moderation concerns about Truth Social and ban it too.

Garland hemmed and hawed 3 weeks . He could have easily got an opinion from the Legal council. But the DOJ was afraid of what they would say because the OLC would have to include relevant court case and their defense of the 2012 one.

The corrupt prosecutor that he sought to have removed was not investigating the time period that Hunter Biden was at the company, Hunter Biden was not the focus - it was an earlier period. And the prosecutor in question had in fact derailed the investigation and placed it in an "inactive" status.

Joe Biden's actions on this had bipartisan, and indeed, worldwide support.

Had to keep that money train to Ukraine going. Biden knew he had leverage so that they would bury the investigation on Hunter and the “Big Guy”.

We don't know what the "evidence" is, only the the FBI/DOJ is telling us that they've found "evidence". This Mar-a-Lago thing is taking on an appearance eerily similar to the Russia collusion accusations which were based on false affidavits given to the FISA courts (by the FBI), which then led to the infamous Mueller investigation that found Trump to be NOT GUILTY of the accusations. That whole thing was a complete hoax that was generated by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democrat party, carried out by the weaponized FBI and designed to cripple the Trump presidency. It's no coincidence that this thing was timed to hit right at the first of Sept before mid-term elections in which Democrats are likely to incur historical losses.

In that court Magistrate judges routinely handle search warrant applications.

Possibly the same in federal courts elsewhere.

In other words, Google might approve Truth Social for its Playstore if it were to more strictly moderate (censor) its content to suit their liberal standards. But that would totally contradict the business model of Truth since their whole concept is to be the anti-Twitter and to allow people to voice their opinions so long as they don't advocate criminal activity. It seems OK for Twitter or Facebook to allow radical liberals to spew hatred and promote violence but shadowban or outright ban any conservative opinion that doesn't fit their political narrative. Great examples are the recent banning by Twitter of Libs of TikTok, and the revelation of Facebook's killing the Hunter Biden laptop story right before the 2020 election. Truth on the other hand, allows the radical right and others to spout off and publicly make fools of themselves. That' what an open forum is all about.

For what it's worth, I obviously don't get Truth on my android phone but it works fine on my desktop.
