This guy has a pretty good message for those getting all bent out of shape because of this Phil controversy. I do not agree with his comments on religion(he's obviously an Atheist) but to the finer point of what is actually happening here, he is spot on.

No, we need free speech in our society. (Note I used the term free speech not to be confused with 1st amendment) When we close the doors to people being able to talk openly and honestly we stop progress, people will still hate just not openly.

Tens of millions, perhaps one hundred million Americans, might philosophically align themselves with Phil's views in general. Phil's life is a story about redemption. A rascal in his early days, Robertson found salvation through Christ after years of hedonistic living.
Is there any greater power than forgiveness or second chances? Duck Dynasty's broad appeal is built upon these very themes. Move to a bigger format where freedom of expression doesn't bow to bullying.

To think that "This Decision" of trying to Stifle a LOVED American Icon in the Entertainment Industry was not done in the Vain of Political Correctness is absolutely.............well............Ignorant.
The issue is that Robertson has the right to say whatever he likes and people should accept it, because "it's in the Bible".
So does that mean anything and everything in the Bible is acceptable? Or do people just pick the parts they agree with, and ignore the ones that nobody agrees with anymore? Like stoning women, for example.
And what about his comments on how happy black people were before civil rights? Is that a credible belief?

I don't think anything was ignorant, the fact that homosexuals are the most whiney people and that they slammed someone for how they felt and isn't that the very thing they have been fighting for ? People to not judge cuz their feelings? The dudes straight married a pillar of light one woman , married how long now, he likes the female body and he simply thinks a females God sent special place is more appealing than the turd dumper, and from a non biblical position you can't argue is if homosexuality is okay then why is nature against it, if it was right two men could reproduce, good thing Adam didn't pee fairy dust cuz this argument wouldn't be happening we would be non existent .
