And thanks to OTHER Ken.. I found a problem on my van.. could have been much worse.. had an annoying intermittent rattle for a couple weeks.. could not find it..mechanic even checked it... we were even checking brackets and motor mounts. Problem was, it wasn't always there, only heard it at low RPM while accelerating, then it stopped.. didn't do it at idle, or going down the road. After seeing his post about his harmonic balancer woes, I wrote him asking about the beginning symptoms of his.. bingo! One more check, and without stress on the belt, we found a slight wobble.. just enough to make that noise. So, tho it's irritating to spend more money.. I"m very glad we found it when I could schedule with my local mechanic, instead of on the road!

Got back from Canada on Monday and promptly got a head and chest cold. Ugh and all while ripping out living room carpeting and doing laminate flooring just Judy and I.... Still have trim all around to do, but bulk of it is done.

....ahhhh Laredo land. looks like i may be here for a while, but at least the weather is great. I've never been down here when it hasn't been a zillion degrees

I really like Laredo in the off heat season...
good luck in getting out in a reasonable timeframe.
After a 5 week Jan nothing like a week in Laredo in Feb. mid 70's cool nights!

I hope you get out of here soon! I saw you at the new J north of here on my way down. Cuz got out Friday, so It's just us I guess. I am thinking mid-next week before I get out, but hope it will be earlier.I have plenty to do if it takes that long. Get the van washed later on today, laundry, DOT physical on Monday.Wax and detail the van...Get the oil changed..for now...Just one run out of here back up north will make for a good week this coming week...Not as many vans down here as there usually are...
