No one is questioning dispatch Pete...we have some operational snafus that need straightened out and apparently John didn't know policy was not being followed....I know we all want to be paid what is owed to us in a timely manner and John wants it to be in the most efficient manner and we are giving him valuable input....absolutely NO criticism here....just observations and information.....

Remember the lack of pay screen issue....nagged you all the time in which you nagged dispatch in return....now 99.9% of the time we get the pay screen....

If we get the flow of information right going forward....as we grow the problems won't grow with us...complications and operational snags can be costly and time consuming in their own way....

I know from at least my point of view..you, John are great at getting the little things going in the right direction....for the benefit of all...and for that I thank you. :)

I agree. The only issue, really, is the notifications of denials. Just an observation and suggestion. I had no idea that it was policy that we were supposed to be getting a notification anyway, and I was genuinely interested in knowing if there was a place we could look and see them. Now I know. I only wanted to suggest that it be done, and why I think it should be done, and perhaps do it in the most efficient manner so as not to become any burden on anyone to do the notifications. Everything else is really and truly a non-issue.

It really seems like some automation of the entire accessorial pay system would benefit everyone. Im sure that anyone responsible for that job hates it. A good contact list to all drivers would help, but that doesnt really eliminate the issues. It does give us access to someone capable of correcting them.

Layover seems like it would be easily automated to a point where very little input would be needed from driver or operations. Oversight and review would probably be needed.

Quite honestly, I would have to agree with Turtle on the point that the system for review and correction may be in place, but getting results from that system are tough. I have asked very few questions since being leased to L1 that weren't met with at least some attitude of some fashion.

Load One is a great company unless you need to communicate with them, then it gets tough. I understand that working with contractor issues gets old and aggravating. I also understand that not everyone is cut out for the job. If everyone was accessable and reactive as John, it would be a breeze.

Again, after making a statement, I feel I need to clarify something. Im not unhappy with Load One. If I were, I would be an "ex" Load One contractor instead of a current one. There are bugs in the system however and the sooner they are identified, the sooner they can be corrected for the benefit of everyone.

With just a few minor improvements in communication, I could easily be persuaded to buy a pair of Guido's pom-poms. I, however, absolutely REFUSE to where the skirt! :D

Well that is very unlike him. He is very approachable to the drivers. I am sure you will be hearing from him directly. I stand corrected as yes I did name him. But I know him and how he is and how he is with drivers. If you left him a voice mail or an email, I would be greatly surprised if it was not handled.

He is, without a doubt, a top-notch guy.He gets 'er done.
