I would go straight north to Jackson tn. There is a nice newer pilot there and lots of freight around. Shorter to get to than Memphis also.

John, If you can get me taken off as the driver of #192 and put me on as driver of #252, then put me in service, go for it....if it doesn't happen, I'll deal with it 1st thing monday...but thanks for the offer....

Amen! Did the same as Wolfman: Pine Grove, Pa [didn't know Steve was there!] to NC, and thanks to hitting Baltimore/Dc during rush hr, [not to mention the construction funnel to one lane], I didn't make my 2200 delivery.
I think I'd take 81 next time - even if it's a bit longer, it's definitely less stressful!
Don't know bout no John English, but a couple clones of John England wouldn't be a bad thing....maybe you could name one Mrs Nappy, lol
Ps I'm happy, cause I got out of Pa [sorry Wolfman!] and am in NC, hoping to take up the 'slacker in Fl' gig when Xiggy's had enough.

You could also take 301 when heading south. Does real good. There are some traffic lights, but all in all a good route.
