Pine Grove, PA. It was 75 when I left NC in the morning, 43 here tonight. Hello heater.

Took me 2 1/2 hours to make it through the Demolition Corridor, aka Washington, DC. Didn't know there was all that construction on 495. I think Obumma laid out the temporary lanes. Not a straight line to be found for miles.:D

Gotta get a new air horn for the truck. This one sounds like a sick duck.

That was a quick go thru. Sometimes 5 hours, especially if headn south on 95.

My rule of thumb is... Only used the DC beltway between 1000 & 1430. Need to be off the beltway by 1500 cause all heck breaks loose after that till about 1900.

Been up. Breakfast at Isis, shower and visiting with folks. Now, gonna take a nap! :)

Are you home now? How did the truck do with that load?

I hit it at 1600 thanks to a 90 minute delay at the shipper. It was nuts. Traffic was backed up all the way to Frederick, MD. I thought about taking 64 across to 81 out of Richmond, but that added about 60 miles. Next time, that's what I'll do. It would have been much quicker.

Got #192 home last night, it drove good other then the ft rotors need machined..other then that..i also figred out what i like about it better then the Cargo Max, THE MILEAGE!!!... LOL, they both have 33 gallon gas tanks....if i push the Max and drive 63-65 mph. i can get 465 miles per tank, or right in the 14 mpg area....544 in #192 at 70-75 with the AC on, or approx 16.5......Yea well, at least I can stand up and put my pants on in the Cargo Max!! LOL...

So, I got the MAX back this morning and the "Curtain" that seperates the cargo area from my personal area is in. It was going to be made of "Sail material"..dycron i think...but when she really got into it, she called and asked if she could use a material that they make "cold water inflatable rafts out of....she said it is light, strong and more "pliable"....so i told her to go for it....so the curtain is up..2 pieces of the "raft" material, "reflextic" foil bubble insulation between them sewn in place. 2 inch wide HD hook and loop (velcro) holding it to the walls and the hook and loop and snaps holding it to the ceiling, and a 6 inch 'flap" laying on the floor makes it seal pretty good to keep the heat up ft this winter...

Now, LOL, i put #192 in service with me as the driver in hopes of getting a load back to Toledo...so now that I am home. I can't put the Cargo Max back in service....seems a driver can not be listed on 2 seperate units....and Safety & Compliance as to be the one to change it....So i am OOS till Monday Am...oh well, UofM plays Football tonight so I can sit with the kids and watch the game....:)

You all be safe out there, and it is good to see some having great weeks....and if it is any indicator, from Knoxville to Toledo coming up I-75, i seen more expediters going in bought directions then i have seen in a long time...I seen John English headin South too!!! So lets hope that is a good sign of things that are happening....:)

And in case of an emergency you now have a nice survival blanket.

I saw John English yesterday too! I was on my way up from Spartanburg SC area with 2 skids that only weigh 600lbs total.... At a decent rate too!

While in route Mr. Bayko scored me another load out of Clinton Tn that I dropped early last night in Louisville KY and I'm getting ready to finish the original run now.... That will be dropped 2 days early!

Hope everyone has a good weekend! Be safe
