I'm up here by south bend. Went to bed, the only one here. Woke up (good thing) #2. Crap.

With the crappy 2 weeks I've had and now looks like this one is gonna be in the toilet, thinkn about just packing it in till next year. I'll actually save money!

Nothing out of Chicago for 90 hrs?....N. Ind. or W.Michigan?...something is not right there.....

That's about it, haven't turned anything down, just loads I have been getting are all short low paying although dispatch has been paying 80 to 90% of the load on their own without me asking, so they are doing their part.

Just bad luck of the draw. The problem is, when these shorties deliver to the middle of the corn fields, its 30 to 60 miles DH back to civilization. I hope I remember how to load a pallet! I think 2 or 3 of the last loads have been in the passenger seat. 1 or 2 lb box.

I just figured out what I am doing wrong! I need to learn to say NO once in awhile and maybe quit trying to be so proactive and just sit where I drop! (except the corn fields)

I'll post later on my numbers.

Ron..the one thing I know is that your luck can turn on a dime..the first of the week and the first week of the month are generally slower, but you're in a great area for freight so it's just like they say...all it takes is that starter trip and you'll get on the roll!:)

Last month I could not buy a load...everywhere I went, the freight wasn't...LOL

Other then that PA snag and in the end that paid off well....

loads have been non stop....all them $50 bills John still has in his pocket.....hahahaha

I think it is a unit that re-positioned out of KC.

I'm in Cincy. I discovered an injector seal leak Sunday. This past week I was getting diesel exhaust smell in the cab. Pulled the cover and there it was, a thin amber layer of shellac on the injector. Caught it early, but if left unchecked will result in the Black Death. Gonna have Doktor A in Pittsburgh do the surgery on Wednesday. They're trying to find me a load heading in that direction, which would be kewl, but if not I'll just head on up there this afternoon.

So I sat on the east side of Chicago since Friday, take A 150 load to here
Yesterday and get bumped to #2 today:( What's wrong with this picture?
