Thanks everybody. I've spent a couple of years looking into expedite. Got some friends with FECC who pushed hard for me to go there. Talked with Panther people, E1, Bolt, Tri State, and a few more I can't remember. Learned the most right here on EO, though. This is where I figured out which carrier I'd like to be affiliated with. Since being on the road I've learned that I have more to learn. During my first all nighter, I learned that a can of Red Bull mixed with a Hostess chocolate cupcake can lead to gastric disturbances of biblical proportions. Made a note to self about that one. So far have had a positive experience. The sprinter is a work in progress but can be comfy if you're not being cooked or frozen depending on the ambient temp. At any rate, I'm not sure how long it'll take to get out of Celina but I guess I'll know soon. Still on the fence as to what kind of heat source will be the best way to go for the cold weather months. I'm not a Phd but I'm guessing a bonfire in the van might prove to have distinct disadvantages. With the weight of the firewood and all.

Welcome buckwheat,
I have a Sprinter also. I use the Espar. More costly, but works great, out of the way, don't have to store it and don't have to mess with propane and refills.

As you have probably gathered from reading here, what ever you choose, will only be as good as the insulation you put in.

Add another 638 miles unto that total....

3630 miles this week....:D

Jeremy comes thru again....

Just curious, when you say 7% DH, is that from drop to shipper or from your fishing hole to shipper? If the latter, what is your actual DH from drop to fishing hole to shipper.

Reason I ask (i'm working on my numbers to post) and they ain't nowhere near 20% let alone 7%!

When you DH from Winchester to Carlilse, that kind of stuff, are you including that?

Back to the accountants office tommorow to finish up the irs required filing of tatx returns for last yr...yea i filed for an extension....

Then i need to stop by the "Sail Shop" for a "fitting' of the "Sail curtain that is finally being made...Once it is "fitted", she lady can finish it up and with a little luck it will be installed this week...

Once I leave the sail shop I will either go back in service, OR, another adventure will start that will keep me out of service for another day or so....I'll post on that if and when it happens...needless to say, this is something I should have done long before this, was just tryin to be a nice guy...and it didn't workout...so time to fix it...

I think that is the amount of time he listened to the grateful dead while the van was moving.

no actually AC/DC....:p

Ron....only from dispatch to shipper it includes....NOT the mile I take on my dime.....this week that would only add about 3% to that 7%...been almost on top of every shipper...

You ok? Ken'll tell ya I'm a worrywart!

Seem to be. I handled the drive down here with no problems. Some stiffness, but no big deal. Comes with age.

BTW, I am older than Ken.:( July to his October. Pains me to say that.
