Obama follows Constitution on Syria

This article surely paints a possible scenario. What it more contained for me, is the fact of all the weapons brought in and cui bono, who benefits? The other stark point in this piece was the whole crux of the matter.....wars are not usually (especially now a days) a result of some crises event. Rather, the war is planned well in advance, and the event/excuse to invade is then created.

Global Research will often unwittingly misdirect knowing there is no consequence. Directing this piece toward the USA may be shielding the actually perpetrators. Go down the USA rabbit hole, where nothing can actually be proven......rabbit goes out the back entrance, and into the clear. Not saying it's true in this case, but possible, and goes toward Turtle's point.

Global Research also reveals a lot of truth IMV and is a great source for triangulation research, or comparing this, with that....something which must be done today for true investigation.
Likely there's not a yes or no answer about the aforementioned article that will ever come out in public, but there's obviously been some funny business going on in Syria for a while. Remember this little snippet from last Sept.?
The U.S. has lost track of some of Syria’s chemical weapons, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said Friday, and does not know if any potentially lethal chemicals have fallen into the hands of Syrian rebels or Iranian forces inside the country.

Panetta: We?ve Lost Track of Some Syrian Chemical Weapons | The E-Ring
Fact is, there is some bad business going on in Syria right now involving some bad players, and NONE of them are allies of the USA. Obama is obviously clueless when it comes to foreign policy; sometimes the best thing to do is nothing rather than go from bad to worse.

Another strange occurrence is the anti neocon who voted FOR THE NEO CON OBAMA in the last election. Lots of ice skating down there.

1. Obama is a neo-liberal ...

2. Obama was (theoretically) the lesser of two evils ...

3. Arf, arf ...

Obama is seeking Congressional approval to act on Syria.

Imagine that!

Obama's history-defying decision to seek Congressional approval on Syria
Coming full circle for a moment, let's just stop to think who benefits from all this Syria hoopla - Barack Hussein Obama, and nobody else. Unfortunately, Boehner has taken the bait and once again shows himself to be a wimp. If the rest of the GOP buys in Obama will have them to blame for whatever goes wrong, and he wins the political chess match. The added benefits are having all the Obama scandals completely taken off the front pages and away from the media's attention altogether. No more Benghazi, Fast & Furious, etc being discussed anywhere at any time. In addition to the two aforementioned scandals, when is the last time you can remember hearing anything about any of the most recent disgraces?
  • IRS Targeting Conservative Groups
  • AP Phone Records Taps
  • Rosengate - tapping James Rosen's phone & emails and Holder's related perjury
Added benefits are having the deteriorating conditions in Afghanistan and Iraq being ignored, and no one except the Israelis seems to be concerned any more about the nuclear weapons being developed in Iran. On the domestic front ObamaCare and its consequences are de-emphasized, we're being told the stagnant economy and low paying part-time jobs are the new norm, while the number of unemployed and underemployed remains static**. The American public re-elected the Clown in Chief, now we all reap what they've sown.

Still sucking on the lysergic acid I see ...

BTW, you completely missed possibly the most egregious offense of all: the government's widespread spying on its citizens ... and then lying about it ...

Luckily for America, the rest of the world, and the crystal sands of Syria...back in 2007 a collaboration between the Pentagon and the IDF {that's the Israeli DEFENSE forces} resulted in the destruction of the nuclear armed facility in Syria. just shortly before it became functional.
you know, the one copied from North Korea, that laid in the middle of the Eastern dessert, not so far from the Iranian border, without any electric wiring connection, yet with only one goal: to produce Plutonium for weapons of mass destruction.
so now, all America have to worry about, are some lousy chemical weapons, & some very interesting butterfly's...
not that the IAEA chief Yukiya Amano, ever did or say, anything about this till after the fact, {5 years after!}...."
More than two years ago the IAEA stated that the Al Kibar facility near Deir ez Zor was a nuclear reactor in the final stages of construction.
“The UN nuclear agency on Thursday said for the first time that a target destroyed by Israeli warplanes in the Syrian desert five years
AP071024069123-635x357.jpg
ago was a covertly built nuclear reactor".

but hey, the IAEA is our front line of defense, so let'em tell us what @ risk.

Some very unusual alliances with the pro Syrian invasion crowd. They include the cast of losers from the Obama regime, McLame, speaker Boener, various duped republicans, some soccer moms from New Jersey, most of the supposed anti war Dems including Pelosi,Dingy Harry Reed, Debbie Blabermouth Shultz, and none other than converted hawk Howie Dean.(see link) Oh and most of the Hollywood crowd. Notice how silent they are on this one. Not much of a peep from them. Probably don't want to speak out against their dear leader. On the other side you have Code Pink, OWS, some miniscule amount of Dems, some level headed, constitutional republicans like Rand Paul,Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and some others, and the Russians. Got to side with the latter on this one.Howard Dean backs Obama on Syria (video) - The Hill's Global Affairs

The projected "no" votes are adding up.

Will Congress Authorize A Strike On Syria?

It seems pretty clear that President Obama is intent on a strike with or without Congressional approval but then he has been confident that he will get his desired support.
If the "no" votes continue to add up he will not have the support of Congress and he already does not have support of the public.

Will he still go ahead with the strike? If so, this could be a boon for the Republican party!
This is getting real interesting.

Don't count England out just yet!

British investigators have come up with "new" evidence in the form of sarin gas residue in victim's clothing.

New evidence means that Prime Minister Cameron could call for another vote.

Cameron is giving it his best shot but he better hurry it up if he wants to help out his buddy!!

How convenient. You know, if the UK announced they wouldn't help unless Captain Kirk beams down, Obama's going to be on the phone to Hollywood inside of a minute. If they say they need proof of a unicorn, a mermaid, Bigfoot, and the Loch Ness monster, Obama would try to produce them. We'll djinn up whatever necessary so we can go kill more little brown people.

Most if not all of the blue undecided will flip to YES. They are merely 'taking cover" now so as not to commit their vote until it absolutely needed. The majority of them are Dems in that category. If their dear leader calls them and says their vote is absolutely required at this time they will accomodate. They are waiting to see how many republicans will be duped into voting for this. If there is enough, than they will cover themselves by voting NO with this unpopular resolution. The same with most of the lean No Dems. They will be a yes vote if Speaker Boener can scraped together a large amount of republicans. If a significant amount of republicans can see what a fiasco this really is, than this resolution is screwed.

President Obama could lose big on Syria in House - John Bresnahan and Jake Sherman - POLITICO.com

From article:

“At the end of the day, a lot of these Democrats are going to be with the president,” said a House Democratic aide close to the issue. “Because the choice is to vote against [the Syria resolution] and turn the president into a lame duck and destroy his credibility, or swallow it and vote for something that you’re not wild about. When you’re faced with that kind of decision, most of these fence-sitters are going to come aboard.”

Not likely. Our political parties are not heavily populated by people of courage or character. They are not populated by people who listen to those they are there to represent. They are self serving, corrupt and have no intention of changing. If we don't take steps, and VERY SOON, to change things around, there will be no turning back.

You currently have between 80 and 90 percent of the public (depending on which poll you look at) wanting to not go in to Syria. Yet.......they seemed convinced it is a good idea. Just amazing.
They are all worried these nations will laugh at us. They have been for years now.
