He doesn't remember that you were early on that last delivery and what a nice guy you were. He's a card-carrying member of the UAW and he voted FOR Obama - your company loses the business.
Often it's not even a conscious thought that does it. It's subliminal. He sees the truck, the carrier logo, the sticker, and thinks, "I don't like that." It's the sticker he doesn't like, but in the mind the sticker and the logo become associated with each other. Then, days, weeks or even months later, he sees the Load 1 logo and thinks, "I don't like that," without necessarily knowing why.

This kind of stuff is the bread and butter of advertising and marketing, and when you put some other type of message next to a carrier logo (whether it's political, religious, or for IdleBusters), you are associating them with each other. Like, someone sees a Load 1 Sprinter tooling down the road with Air Tabs on it, they think, "Load 1 has some smart people driving for them!" Eventually the association becomes, "Load 1, the smart carrier, and I'll be smart to use them."

I understand Chef it's your truck and we aren't going to change your mind, but even though it is your truck it is leased to Load 1 and you are projecting an image of the company, while nothing will probably happen, if Load 1 loses one load is it worth it?
Personally, I love the sticker and the message, but not everyone has our views.

Welllll....here's an idea that'll keep everybody happy.

Put all your bumper stickers on magnets and then display them at the appropriate time and place.

In other words, go get you a bunch of "King Obawa" stickers on magnets and put them on your truck when up in the NE, along the Left Coast, and when picking up at Commie, I mean Union, Controlled auto plants.

Once you're loaded and you get away from those Socialist areas and delve into the Heartbeat of America where true Americans are at, take those magnets off and put your "Miss Me Yet" Bush magnets up.

That way we'll keep everyone happy in this Politically Correct BS country we're living in.........................

Well, Load 1 doesn't seem to have an issue with the aforementioned stickers. I understand the concerns raised but if Load 1 is cool with them, who are we to say otherwise?

I strongly believe that politics and religion are two items that should stay out of the workplace.

And out of respect for John and HIS opinion and the fact that I am leased to his company, I'll not put the sticker on the van...
