Good Job Ken! Most know about my issues back in Jan. As of last week I'm down to 205 pounds from 278 pounds, My BP is now normal and off meds. My Diabetes is well under control and I hope to be off the pills on my next Doctors visit, and I just feel great! Knee pain is gone, back pain is just about gone! I have 5 more pounds to go to reach my Goal.for those that are doing the math that's 73 pounds in 8 months!
So how'd you do THAT?

Awesome job Ken, keep it up!!!
My Wife and I are starting a diet next month, through my Chiropractor. I don't have too much to lose just a 30 pound spare tire  250 was my wake up call last physical...it really sneak up on you.
I figure it will be easier if we are both on the same diet

Stay away from Mickey D's and Burger King :p

actually I buy them $1.00 just plain salads at times as a side dish...it is just enough and there is no waste...

are you going on a specific diet? or just cutting back on the carbs and fats?

I'll bet nutrisystem is easy for an expeditor since alot of the stuff is freeze dried just add water....I know they have frozen stuff now also
Do you guys just stop at a super market to get your fruits and veggies?

yes..there is now 4oz containers of veggies and the fruit as well....sometimes I get fresh...but Walmart is not good at fresh..*LOL*

The only thing on my menu that is freeze dried is the beef patty....just had one for that matter...but after I soften it up..I put it in a pan and add onion and garlic powder...to give it some flavour...oh, oh there is that U again...*LOL*

oh I get a 6 pack of eggs and boil them hard..in advance..

I cut out all sugar, cut out most high carb foods, I read the labels and if it has more than 25g of carb I don't eat it and portion size is about half of what I ate before, I only 3 meals a day no snacking, no soda whatever, I drink water and coffee with sugarfree creamer, and walk a mile 3-4 times a week.

Hey this is really cool! And I have a great idea!
There are so many of you it seems.. all doing different things with the same end goal..
How about starting a 'group' or something.. with 'before and after' photos.. and a description of the diet you're on, or that you did to achieve the results.. and a weight thing.. ie how much lost within how long.. along with which type of exercise if any.. and health benefits (ie no more BP meds or whatever the case may be)..
That could be a real inspiration to many, and people could follow along and choose which method matches the one they'd like to try out..
What is the fascination with the USA Popeye's to Canuck men anyway??

Amazing what a little self-discipline and staying out of the fast food joints will accomplish. Kudos to all you guys - keep it up!
