I lost 4lbs just from water bloat in the last 36 hours......amazing how much the body retains and quickly at that...

Yeah, I will often lose that in an afternoon of slogging through the marsh. (when my knees can take it). That kind of weight comes right back on the minute you sit still for a bit. Guess I will just have to figure a way to hunt for a living!! :D

My BP was 116/69 yesterday....perfect...it is staying there...:D

That is really good. Mine has not been in that range without drugs for 20 years. Most likely never will be.

When I was on the PA HotShot forest fire crew I had to work out, hard, all the time. For a six month time frame I got up every morning, did 30 minutes on my stair stepper with a 50lb back pack on. Then, every afternoon when I got out of work, I ran up and down the stairs of the 9 story building that I worked in. Over that time I lost only 8lbs and STILL had to be on BP meds.

That is with 50% less meds...and dropped one med completely the Atenol...supposed to keep the pulse rate down...

I'll talk with the Dr..about trying no meds for a week and see what happens....I know he'll say stay on them..they always do..*L*

I was never able to get off them even when working out that hard. High BP and stuff runs in my family. My uncle rides his bike 20 mile or better daily in the hills in PA. He has been on BP meds for as long as I can remember and has had a triple bypass. He is NOT fat in any way either. It's mostly in the genes. The best we can do it tweak it a bit here or there.

No family history of heart problems or BP...maybe I'll luck out...

am only on two heart pills now...and 1 for colestrol. and 1 aspirin a day...

I have to ad one to keep the gout from coming back. I STILL have an attack every 10 years or so. Man, THAT stuff can put you out of work. Now had it in both big toes and both knees. What FUN!!

My Father in Law suffered/suffers from gout. He has had both knees replaced now, but my wife remembers when she was young, there were times he couldn't even have a fly land on his knees without crying out in pain

Frustrating to say the least...goes to show how much exercise effects the loss...3 days of constant driving and no walking really slowed me down...I tend to take on water and bloat somewhat...

275.8...in the right direction still....should be better this week...:D

5 days later... 272.4...that makes 50 lbs lost...another goal reached....:D

28 lbs since the Expo....
