April numbers were pretty good. I did a little over 8200 miles last month. That includes 4 days of sitting in the Northeast. My average per loaded miles is just slightly under 82 cents per mile. I took total miles and multiplied them by 82 and came out with almost the exact amount of gross pay that I have earned.
I guess bolt is not really the cheapest company out there. Panther's new contract is 70 CPM linehaul plus 15-16 cent FSC, that comes out to 86 CPM, which is merely 4 CPM more than I have been averaging here at Bolt. I could have made 350 more dollars in gross revenue at Panther, but I don't think I would have gotten as many miles. So, there is no real difference in my estimation.
On that note, i'm sitting here at Bolt world Headquarters in Toledo Ohio waiting for a load. All I've had for this month is one 43 dollar dry run. Heck, if Bolt wants to pay me 43 dollars to drive 10 miles, I ain't gonna complain about that. Hope you all stay busy out there this month and keep your trucks in between the ditches. J.
