Flying J, Aurora CO. Other than a small dry run pay haven't had a paying load in over 10 days. Deadheaded here from Northeastern Oregon by way of 5 days (I know, way too long) sitting in Boise. Had a great run from there that dry ran on me 60 miles down the road (no pay). Gave up and headed east where I ran into others who had similar stories of sitting and deadheading out of the northwest. Hoping for something on Monday moving back east from here.

In 5.5 years driving we've never had a dry spell like this before. Sure do hope its a fluke.

Stop trying to use CB talk when you don't have one. If you had one you would KNOW, I ain't your GOOD BUDDY!!!!

I do care about miles when they fall the way these two loads did.....272 is lower than 514 miles. I'll take the higher every time....

And stopit with the jabs of "git closer to home"....You are never close to home, don't hold resentment towards us smart folks that live in the lanes....Baw-hahahaha. Didn't I tell ya yesterday that I would more than likely be home sometime this coming week?

I looked at and actually SAW the hand writing on the wall about ten years ago when fedup got into the ltl business. Many, many shippers are realizing that many trucks can do a just as good or better job than the big box company they've been accustomed to feeding without all the anal phone time neede to get their stuff taken care of.

You may want to get used to drout.

Call up FedEx and ask for a paid move to somewhere east. I wouldn't say freight dried up, its there, just they don't look for it there.
