Actually, I'm not going to Winnepeg now, I called the consignee due to the other post about it being Victoria Day on Monday, and the consignee is closed....so I am gonna wait down in Tenn for a load since I couldn't deliver the winnipeg load til tuesday. now the pick up time on the load this evening is changed to 1800 so got to wait a lil longer.
I am looking for an excuse to go home..I'll take that load to Winnipeg...

This week as i said is in line with what all of this year has been so far and that is $.82 per loaded mile including FSC.....I believe that is inline with most everyone else using CV's.....
I can't speak to Bolts overhead, i just lease to them, but i like anyone else can figure its less then the "BIG BOY'S". Now as to them bidding low to get freight, thats fine with me as long as they are continuing to pay me as they are....oh and you know as well as i do that there are other Bolt drivers getting the same kind of runs and numbers i am.
So, no its not easy, but it certainly isn't the direr straights some try to make it out to be. Is it the $1.20 a mile for CV's it was yrs ago? Nope, but I didn't work in this industry back then, and my expectations weren't that high, and I certainly don't need to make that, but then again, i am not trying to support a household on this income either....We each have different needs from whatever we do. All i ask is that the business pays for itself and i make s few estra bucks...i was told 2 yrs ago that that wouldn't happen, it was BS then and it is BS now...anyone that wants to set themselves up right and work at it can make money doing this...easy? No. Hard, No...but you have to work at it.....
As to the disclaimer, if they can't figure out that i don't sit still and simply wait for dispatch to be kind to me just by reading the number of runs i am getting and how often I move to better freight area's on my own, then they aren't paying attention....and a disclaimer wouldn't make any difference....

Mid America motor works is there they have tons of parts for air cooled vw's
Chef..that works..you are right as long as we get our rate it is not our concern what the carrier is bidding...

was east bound on I-80 at Grant st in Gary Ind. Just stopped at the "J".....HEY JACK AND GRACIE, that knew CV sure looks good goin down I-80 West bound!!!

I hate when this happens...got unloaded in Lansing tonight instead of tomorrow morning...figured i could get a whole nights sleep...but...Noooooo...dispatch called before i could even Dh 10 miles to the "J" in Grand Ledge mich with a 2300 PU in Battle Creek Mich and Deliver to Talapoosa GA tomorrow evening....
Sitting at the TA Ashland, VA. Delivered this afternoon in Norfolk.

Springfield, KY to Howell, MI with preload Holland, MI to St Paul, MN for Monday morning delivery. Taking a full night sleep before Holland pick up. Not bad considering I was in Laredo on Tuesday.

Never fear....I am here...LOL...I had an ok week so far a nice load today would knock this week outta the park...Monday had a pick up in Groveport, Ohio going to Kensett, Iowa, than I had a return trip the next day...Took off Wednesday (not feelin well), than yesterday I ran a shorty from Dayton, Ohio to Indianapolis, Indiana...Now am sitting number 3 in Indy...Just under 1600 miles this week...Hopin for a little more...
