Too bad...I was haunting your neck of the woods up there in Mitchell, SD. Went to check out Mt. Rushmore and it was worth the drive. The drive up to it was pretty cool also...cool tunnel and some definite grade to the road. will post some pics later. Anyways, deadheaded back to Lincoln, Ne and got a load from Kearny, Ne to Dundee, MI for 898 miles. Go figure, I should have stayed in Rapid City, I probably would have still gotten the load and the deadhead miles to boot. Oh well. Win some ya lose some. Now I'm sittin in Salem, Oh waiting for a text msg and a beep on my qualcomm.:D It was good to get out of the van and walk around tho. A change of scenery is always good too. Not to mention it's helping me lose some weight at the same time.

But-But-I get out of there!!!?? Out of the 5 times there with All-State, 2 were a dud, and deadheaded to the atlanta area, and the other 3-
1) 1 hour after unloading
2) pre loaded
3) 12 hours later

And, yes, you are correct, it is a flaky state to get out of. Hit or miss.

Still at the house,Waiting-just got done washing the van.May start installing the air-ride setup for it in awile.

yo know if your carrier had a change of policy and said we are no longer having CV's...you'd get a soreful look and handshake and they'd say...too bad Dave you are a nice guy and we like you BUT>>>>Good bye....

I am very seriously considering the offer made to me: but, I want to do it carefully, courteously, without burning bridges. HOwever, I know it will all weigh out to my advntage in the end, There is still the change in pay-89 vs 82 cpm, which could add up to $70.00 per every 1,000 miles, etc.
