Jay has been running solo for the last three months. Not bad by any measure. I'm jumping in the truck too, to see if we can't better the numbers by hitting a few homers.

thanks wolfeman68 was just told it's up the road lol and sounds right but was not given a direction out the drive way.

Right out of driveway on Inkster, left on Northline, right on Middlebelt. Building is on the right just before the McDonalds.

My rough calculations..Load-1 is approx about 50% smaller then E-1 is cv/sprinter/cube capacity and growing... at this growth pace we'll be able to grab a bigger market share...There are some major cv/sprinter shippers out there....

We, too, jumped from E-1 to Load One after 3 months. It's lucky for the other companies that John doesn't want to grow his company too fast. We have no doubt that he COULD have a huge fleet, if he wanted one. Brian, the only recruiter, has been run ragged since this post started! Load One is truly the best-kept secret in the expediting business - at least, it was, before this post laid all the good stuff out for public consumption. Lucky us!

OVM,
It does not matter how big the fleet is, it only matters how one manages it.

IF the fleet grows to be too much for the company to keep everything moving almost every day, then it is too big.

Many of the customers do not care what vehicle brand carries the freight, they care about cost.

I agree with you 100% on that it comes down to how a company is run and how a fleet is nurtured and taken care of.

On the customer side, you are only partially correct. Not all customers are 100% price driven. They do not want to see a high % or all of their freight covered by the carriers equipment. That is why you do not see giant expedite brokerages.

John

You are so right that freight isn't 100% price driven. That is one of the biggest mistakes customers make. It goes back to the old saying, " you get what you pay for". It's like buying a car, you wouldn't by a Yugo over a Jag just to save money. I know I wouldn't.
