Ask the locals, Mt. Si, is just behind the truckstop and is a nice, easy hike. You may enjoy the view.

go down towards the scale (West) turn NOrth there. go to that cute train town Squalmie? or Snohomish? (about 12 miles). Park by the thrift store (on right - abandoned car lot). The thrift shop lady is from Florida. Imagine that!!!! and there is a great Italian and a great Mexi restaurant easy walk. There is a whatnot(?) store with magic stuff, antiques, all types of wierdness. The hardware store on the block over has a great selection of gimgaws. There is also a small grocery store, all within walking distance of where you parked.

Sitting at the yard. Had the Sprinter looked at yesterday and the waterpump is going bad. Going to run regional this week and get it fixed on Saturday morning at 8am...then going out of service for a much needed vacation on Sunday for a whole week! Well, maybe. It depends on how antsy I get. I've been out since May 30th so a break will be overdue.

Enjoying a few days at home in Tennessee. At a gun collectors auction now, over 160 guns at auction. A great number of old military rifles. Just bought a WW2 Japanese rifle.:thumbup:
