My computer died. The hard drive bit the dust. It was our GPS as well. SO, I am now bored most of the time with little to do. Will have to use Mrs. Layoutshooters computer for GPS. Don't like it, all shiny etc. No other choice at the moment.

bored here in Lebanon Ind. had more naps in the day then a Michigan Democrat....LOL

Being bored in Lebanon, IN would be better. If I were THAT close to home I would be home by now!! I am limited to using Mrs. Layoutshooters computer. I called a guy today about mine, just need to know what I am doing to see if I have time to have it fixed

Those long ones that pay well are hard to refuse aren't they?...I hope you get out in a reasonable time to make it payoff...

Yes, they are hard to turn down. I too hope we get out quickly. One, I don't like it here and two, I am not making money sitting still. VERY few load offers today. There are a half a zillion expediters from several carriers just sitting here.

So I had a pretty good week this week.

I got out of the yard with a load from somewhere I can't remember in Indiana to Manitowoc, WI...went down to the truck stop at exit 322 south of Milwaukee, then got a load from Grafton, WI to Seymour, IN. Picked up in Indianapolis and took a load to Chicago....Then Valparaiso, IN with a stop off in Bedford, PA then in Mcconnellsburg, PA. So got some much needed sleep and drove to the house. Out of service til tomorrow taking a break.

Started weds. With a load from s.bend to statesville nc. Then Thursday am. Got a load from yadkinville nc. To Detroit....then dh home (kalamazoo) from Detroit Fri am....then got 4 loads from preicton in. To Florence ky. for the weekend..that will keep me busy till Mon am....

So where did they hide the truckstops in the part of the world? Doesn't seem many to choose from.

There ain't much. A small, dirty Pilot near the 75/85 split. A Pilot a few miles north on 85 and a couple of older truckstops on north of that. There is a decent Wilco Hess north on 77.

There is also an Ikea just south on 85. I don't remember the exit, but they have a nice clean food court and you can get some excercise looking around the store. Lots of room to park.

Head down I-77 into South Carolina to the "J" in Rock Hill.

On my way to Billings, MT to my first drop, a skidsteer on Monday then I go to Salt Lake City to unload the second stop which is a big loader.
