Back home in Traverse City, MI. Took the wife on the road with me for the last 11 days. It was her first trip out and she actually liked it! Looking forward to getting back out there together in the next few weeks. Ready for a 3000 mile week solo.

Made it to Sheridan, WY from Mt. Vernon, IL in my allotted time today. There is a winter storm moving in so I get to drive through that tomorrow instead of just being able to finish the last 2 hours on dry roads. Thanks for keeping me safe HOS!

Gonna run first load of the week. Pittsburgh, PA to Ridgeway, PA. 166 loaded, but pays $175. Not a bad gig. Raining as usual out here in Ohio

On load from N Platte to Galesburg
We are well rested after spending a nice long 4 day weekend in Ont. Ca. We will be heading off to Seattle tomorrow.
Today I sighted a Moose in So. Cal. Thanx to layoutshooter, not only did I see Moose I met him and the three of us had lunch. After lunch Moose gave us the behind the scene tour of his new
flatbed with the OOIDA logo on it. Very sharp. I especially like the moose on the tail.
Thank you for the tour Moose and especially the good conversation at lunch with Joe and me.
Good times on the road.

Just ran a load from Atlanta,ga to riverdale,il now at the pilot in Gary,in for some sleep

Local driver here- went from Madison Heights to Lapeer in the early AM. Dropped off at 10:30 (roads were brutal). Went over to my folks after that in Flint. Was available at 1PM, hoping to get a run back towards Detroit. Nothing. So I spent the rest of the day w/ my folks.
I made I'm guessing $60 for the day. A better business decision prolly would have been to come on down here empty at 1PM.
Some days though, it's not about the $$. I had one of my best days in a long time.

Sitting at Casa de Frutia, outside of Gilroy, CA. Delivered today in San Francisco. We had two loads cancel over the past two days. Got another for Monday, assuming this one does not cancel, from LA to Louisville, KY. SOOOOO happy to be getting out of CA!!!!
