So glad I can stay out of the rate discussions now.

Finally got my ankle checked out. Its not good. Ultrasound tech just asked me how I could possibly be walking.

I'm not laughing at you...... Wait, yes i am!
After today's brain fart, It made me realize another mistake I made when I moved in. I originally didn't want cable, and was hoping to use the nice roof antenna that came with the house.

I hooked up the TV and could only get a couple of crappy looking stations from Canada. Since I was having the roof redone, I had the antenna removed.

Today I realized I had used a tv without a digital converter. So I would not have gotten any channels anyways.

The little antenna pad I bought, pulls in a few nice clear HD channels from inside the house. Makes me wonder now, what I could have got with the roof antenna. Poundering on putting one back up.

And, 300 miles over weight, seriously, this is a new record for having a small one

Well working for a company that doesn't :censoredsign: you or charge you endlessly for a QC that you never own, or one that doesn't broker out freight you can haul and need and are near to, a guy who has strong motivation to get the freight on your truck and gets it there...wwll when you find it, you aren't afraid to tell him that he is appreciated. If you dislike it, don't read it please...feel free to scroll on by.

Getting excited aren't we?
I could say few things to argue with you, but I will choose to hold it out, to prevent older folks from getting their blood pressure up.
Wishing you good day!

Anyway, arrived in Holden MA at 3AM, a few hours sleep and delivered at 8. Then to Dunkin and a power nap. Need to be home for the weekend so was planning on waiting out the day then DH home. Then BANG, those lousy dispatchers at the company I work for disturbed my second nap with a load going to Jersey, 75 miles from home. And I told them I would run for gas money just to get home BUT they insisted on twice that amount. Frickin' dispatch always telling me what to do. And that office gal, what's her name, oh Sylvia, paid me without being asked AND it was the correct amount. I can't continue being treated like this, I'm looking for another carrier

Was it as bad as what you thought the charges would be?
Only $33.00....not too bad for 4 months and 2 pages of entries

I bought a house roof antenna and installed it in my attic, under the house roof. Does a great job, and doesn't show from outside. Plus no future rust stains running down my roof.

Speaking of the.....
We were talking about you, Murray.
You got quite a following. I only know of one Master whose follower was ready to "fight" for him. But that was apostle Peter and Jesus himself.
I don't know if you are multiplying fish and bread or turning water into wine, but your guys seems to stand behind you.
Whatever you are doing, its working.
Keep it up.

And you live by Port Huron? What would you get with an antenna - Flint, Detroit or Canada

Sent from my XT1635-01 using EO Forums mobile app

Apparently all of the above. Pulling in Canada and Detroit local stations right now, and some not sure where they come from, with basically indoor rabbit ears.

So pretty much confirms that a real antenna would do much better. I'm actually shocked that I'm pulling in the Detroit stations at all

So this antenna pad should work pretty good on the road

That's a cool idea, and I have a spot for it. That would be a easy fix to try out. I got a big feeling I'm going to be antenna shopping now. Worse case, have someone install it on the roof later if needed.

Many moons ago in my FedEx years I had a load consisting of 8 lathe bits for a machine shop. I was able to put the tiny box in my pocket. I should have taken a picture of it. And the pay on that load would make some of today's expediters gasp for air.

Those were the days, my friend...

Much better than the stations you get on the southern border.
