so i get held up at the gate for two and a half hours, to then get clearance to enter and arrive at the dock in time for a break.

Really a shmoo nice way to think of your fellow drivers team guy. You well know the dispatcher didn't even know there was a back end when offered. You accepted it after already having a good load that day the so called shmoo had nothing and was hoping for more than a hundred dollar load because they are going broke. That shmoo you refer to accepts almost all short loads they are offered and that happened to be one they turned down because of the situation.

I'd think I'd rather be a shmoo than an ***!

Hindsight is 20-20..For all anyone knows it could have been one of those cherry pickers that only accepts long loads.

When Ken reffered to him as a schmo he new exactly who it was it has nothing to do with what he knew when he accepted the load.

Why should he call Ken on the phone? If Ken can do the things he does on a public forum then it should be good for anyone else to do the same to him.
