Well I spent the whole day weeding and the garden is looking better...found my little leeks hiding under the weeds and tried not to break the onion stalks...first part of the day was therapeutic...second half was just plain work and I got an ache in my back...wahhhhhhhhhh..*lol*

But I did pick some radishes and buttercrunch lettuce for my supper..am letting them chill for now. Ought to go good with that steak I'm going to toss on the grill and some home fried potatoes.

The sun reaching those things that I did plant combined with that inch of rain is making them grow. Corn has grown a couple inches. I was going to water later this evening, but we're supposed to get more rain and that is so much better for the garden. Oh and my potatoes are about a foot high now and about ready to bloom.:)

Just got my mystery plants planted..wound up with 4 burning bushes, 4 clumps of pampas grass, 3 sweet peas, 3 passion flowers, 10 bulbs..reinette ranunculus, and get this...I also got two banana trees (Dwarf Cavendish) ..*LOL*..I gave one to a friend and planted the other in a big pot cuz you know it'll have to come inside for most of the year. Think I got my money's worth?

and my potatoes are just about to bloom, my tomatoes have flowers and my peppers are about to blossom also.

I have tomatoes and peppers, hungarian hots are on the vine. Oh and I cut some lettuce leafs tonight for a quick salad.

I still am waiting for someone (HINT) to come and help turn over the ground for some navy beans (HINT HINT)

Not outside over the winter..*LOL* This one is a dwarf and it says it gets about 5' tall...so sun in the summer and moving it to the brightest window inside in the winter..I'll tell ya in about 5 years or so if it works..:)
