Ken, you preached trust and patients to me last week, while you were broke down and practicing patience yourself. It worked for me and I know it will for you as well.

JuJu I understand and hear your frustration. It will come your way soon, I can feel it. Dispatch is working very hard and will get him moving again soon! He will hopefully be pleasantly surprised by a long and high dollar one, because he has patience. Which I have a tendancy to lose very easily myself.

Patience is learned art out here...all things come around full circle...

Let me tell ya about our team mate Xiggi did this morning...he knew I was coming here yesterday when he was in Dallas as I dropped by the J to shoot the breeze.....Joe gave him a paid move to Little Rock last night....so this morning instead of being #1 I was now #3...i guess the van that was in Dallas also moved during the night....Xiggi in all his goodness....went 130 or so miles towards Memphis UNPAID....so I would have a better chance to-day....As karma would have it....he was dispatched on a load just as he arrived in Memphis...how cool is that? Thanks Xiggi for the effort...and great you got a load out of it....:D

Still empty in Indianapolis....Did turn down a load last night, 150 miles deadhead,to Florence, Ky...going to....Taylor!!...Didnt seem like a good business decision to me..especially with more than 50% deadhead..Only to be with the crowd again..I just dont know...

Well our spectacular week just got bumped down to a super week. We delivered 5 hours early for our Denver drop off at noon today. We were supposed to pick up the next predispatched load from Littleton, CO, by 5pm or asap. So we went there at 1pm and the load was gone. Some other carrier had picked it up instead. Not sure how that happened, but it is a dry run for us and now we are sitting at Sam's parking lot in Littleton, CO.

We were really forward to getting back to MI by Saturday night. Had planned on doing some real estate business and visit a friend and grandkids on Sunday. Oh well, glad we didn't call everyone and let them know we were going to be there.

We know dispatch will get us out soon. We have never been to Colorado, so maybe while we are waiting we will sight see.
Any suggestions on where to go, keep in mind we are in a Straight truck so site seeing and parking is kind of limited for us.

Things to do in the Denver area. Celestial Seasoning tea factory in Boulder has plenty of truck parking a free tour and good deals on tea. The mint room is AMAZING. You may be able to find truck parking for the Denver Mint. Don't waste your time on the aquarium it sucks. if you want a good hotel Drury East off of Peoria road in Aurora is where we always stayed. There is a mall not far from there and be sure to try the.local delicacy of Rocky Mountain Oysters. We used to do a load out there twice a year in which we stayed out there a week at a time.

Got one...Belmont Mich to Utica Mich....via home for the night and deliver in the am.....wasn't suppose to be that way, but.. screw it, i am goin to 'dinner" with my boys tonight....

Oh, and this situation is no ones fault, it just is what it is....
